Default Lord Aragorn Banned.and shouldnt be!

Hey Glitchless,

I just wanted to say Thanks for RWK to start! i have enjoyed it alot over the years.

Now as for my Banning...i Assure you i was here clicking....Sometimes i use Hot Keys but still theres 3 different buttons to Submit Attack and Stat.

i Failed a few Sac Checks because of The Bluury ness....they worst is the resizeing...i'm told it dose that every ti,e you click your mouse i use a Touchy Touch pad....ill buy a mouse if this is the case but it cause me to fail quite a few then tehre are 3 in 24H that i clicked Correct and it said Failed....Now im Banned.

I was also told there is a way to make the squares not blury. could someone tell me how to fix that aswell?...just incase i do get to come back again.

i know the Rules and ToS but this is not really my fault...Sorry to waste your time with Posting but i would really apreachate my Account back.

Thank You for your time,
Matt

The beauty of the Race War Kingdoms security checks is it doesn't matter how or why you fail them. If you fail enough of them in a row you are declared dumber than a macro and not fit to play the game. There is no excuse for being unable to count white boxes or continuing to play the game while failing checks.

The squares are blurry when you use Internet Explorer 8. If you want them sharper you need to use IE7 (or earlier). If you're using Chrome or Firefox with the IEtab plugin it's still using your underlying version of IE for RWK, so that's what will control whether the squares are sharp or not. Despite the blurriness they can still be counted. Just be careful about what answer you click to be sure you're hitting the right target.

I have used IE7 for years now and never got a blurry Security check.

Yup, you're right about IE7 giving sharp squares. I upgraded from 6 earlier this year and thought the blurring started with v7 but it looks like moving from that to 8 was the real cause.

I'll throw together a virtual machine with IE8 and see if I can figure out cause/fix.

I put a screenshot of the blurry squares on my site but can't post the link here. It's jimcav[dot]com/blurry.jpg

I don't see how this is an actuall problem.... yes the squars are blurry but each square is still distinctly seperate and easily countable its not like they blend together... they just aren't sharp squares... I've been using IE8 and correctly answering sec checks since IE8 came out. Anyone who uses the blury sec check caused me to fail excuse is full of it in my opinion.
