Mute problem?

I've never been muted before so I don't know if this is supposed to happen:

I had RWK client open because of lag (client sometimes helps with that) but the client locked up, like it does for server update. Every few moments I'd try to post "Anyone else getting major lag?" or "Did the server go down?" but it never went through. Without thinking I loaded the same char on a web page and asked the same question about the server and it went through right away. However, as soon as it did so I got struck by lightning ladeedadeedaa.....that doesn't bother me. What was interesting was that while muted I couldn't /na or /bb. I don't know if that is part of the mute or if it's a bug/glitch.

If anyone knows, please pass on your knowledge to me. Like I said, I've never been muted before so please don't laugh too hard...lol. Some of you might have seen all this, around 4:30pm on the 16th from Faux Pas.

That makes sence (or however that's spelled =P)
The only question that remains, I guess is why would nothing work on the client? Even before I loaded the web page nothing worked. Even though it was telling me that I needed to check my connection it was posting. So when I posted my first post in the web page I was muted. Again, it doesn't bother me, getting muted, I'm just curious.

you could of had a connection problem and ended up spamming and got muted.

when muted you really cant do any actions. Trade or anything...

Nicho's post concerning chat is correct.

I've had the same problems on occasion, sometimes it says they're timing out but when I look on another window they have all gone through. Also, sometimes rwk just stops working altogether and for some reason if I load up another wep page, ie. google, it then works, almost as if I had to show the internet that it is working before it will work for rwk. xD

Its all connection or maybe packet loss issues. Nothing jeff can do if its not on his side.
