Each and every action you take has a small chance of waking a beast. Therefore the more people playing the more actions being made the more beasts that get woken up. If you wanna see one and none have spawned in a while feel free to go spend some of your own ash to spawn one from the ash collector... sometimes it seems like its days between beasts sometimes minutes.... If you wanna see more beasts bring more people to the game.

This game has the highest anti-new player theme of any game out there. Every time you turn around, new players get screwed aside a few kingdom clearing updates. Look at level. It takes 3-4 kills to get a stat boost. It takes 100 stat boosts for ONE level and TEN LEVELS to trade. Ridiculous.
Remove the stupid bars and get back to pure levels. As someone who played in all era's I can say being level one and seeing Lev: 213,000 did not "intimidate" me. It's inspiring to know how much you can view progress. Spending HOURS to get to level 10 is quite depressing.
As for beasts: How about making the beast spawns relative to the number of players online or clicking? It sucks that for off-peak hours, nothing happens. Not all of us can play during "prime time" so it's possible to go 12 hours with ZERO beasts.
Rather than "crank the beast wheel" just make it relative so we have a steady amount of beasts 24/7.

The level system is the same it's always been, the change in numerical values was just cosmetic. Current level 1 corresponds to old level 100 and you still basically "level" every time you train. Getting to level 10 is the same as it originally was getting to 1,000 with the same total stats, stat distriubtion per race, damage, and playing time required. The only real changes to leveling have all made things easier. Transcend, apex, DaD, quickening, Templar, Sky and Hell all cut the time required to reach a given number of stat points compared to the original design in Sept 2001. Transcend is free, apex nearly so, and the others can be earned through ash with a great deal of playing time, or still can be mostly purchased by the impatient.
The restrictions on trading and chat were added in reaction to players misbehaving. With the /ignore command it really shouldn't be a problem for new players to chat again at level 0, although making the ignore list hold more than 20 names would help there. Eliminating the whole guide system would remove the need to restrict trading and we could go back to using level 0 mules again. This has all been requested before but things have not changed.
Empty kingdoms are hard to find because players have been settling them for nearly 8.5 years. Add in the accumulated gold reserves the major kingdom holders have available and the only way owning property is likely to become easier is by wiping the maps and gold hoards and starting from scratch, which is not going to happen. It's always hard to break into a mature game and RWK is positively geriatric by gaming standards. No doubt it's discouraging to new players but there is no simple fix. If I was just finding the game today I doubt I'd play more than a few hours before going elsewhere. Rolling back to the first year would lead to a game that's a lot more fun to play, but it's not gonna happen.
As far as beasts go they have followed the general trend of Glitchless giving and Glitchless taking away. When beast awakenings were the only way they appeared the random spawns were much more common than today. Once ash was added and players got a way to control beast appearance the random awakenings were reduced. Maybe it was a programming change to the chances of an appearance, maybe we just have a lot fewer players clicking today, I don't know if the change was intentional or just coincidental. In any case, players who want more beasts have ash to use for making them appear. You can either collect it by tedious clicking or buy from Glitchless, but the means are available to those who want them badly enough. Ultimately, the only game survives as long as players buy things from Glitchless. RWK is not some hobby for Jeff, it's his business and he's probably not sentimental about it. Freebies only are worth giving if they ultimately boost sales.
Just asking that the game be made easier or cheaper, however you phrase the request, doesn't seem very likely to get results but I do wish you good luck with it.

If you want more beasts, then spawn them using ash.
Also you do relise you can only kill 1 of each type of beast a month? so if your killing 1 reg a week then you will still cap.
Third, there is always BI at the end of the month where hundreds of beasts will spawn, and then many players will spawn beasts with their acumen ash after.

The problem with the BI is you have people with 943875893475 alts. I saw the same three alts dominate all good beasts.

If you suck, you suck, get better, or leave. Just because one MBL team can hit 83748923659 home runs in one stadium and one team can hit always 5 yards short, doesn't mean they should shorten the field 5 yards to make it "fair".

So cater only to the people who offer nothing to the game, and ignore the only ones who intend to spend.
That's a good business venture.

If you intend to play the game, then this should not be a problem for you. If ubers can make 10 chars that can cap on beasts why can't you make one?

The fact still remains there should be a limit on this. No uber "made" 10 chars anymore. They are inherited undeservingly, bought, or traded.
I cap on beasts every month since I got access by the way, so I'm not among those who are unable to beast. Some people find it less than ideal to spend a grande on a text game that is severely outdated and needs a major workover. That aside, more beasts hurts no one so stop feeling the need to put your 2cents in everything unless it's beneficial.

Umm if you can put your 2cents in, I can put my 2cents in. And my 2cents will be, quit bitching about the game being too "hard". Beasts were already bitched enough so jeff added 3 sur beasts that can be killed by any level 50 player. Before that you HAD to have access to kill any type of beast.

Yeah I know. I was there for the first PB (back when he made them on Surface) and it lasted days... I know how it used to be and how it is now. I also know there were ACTUALLY PEOPLE PLAYING THEN not the 20-25 that play now. Hundreds.
Ever wonder WHY almost 90% of the game population quit? I doubt it is because things got better.
