Default Windows 7 IE8

What needs to be changed to use local graphics files with IE8 and Windows 7? Just using the /drive X command isn't enough, I'm guessing it's the security settings for the browser since Firefox with IETab works fine under Win 7.

yeah I had troubles getting it to work in IE7 on Vista too.. did a bit of playing around and got it to work although I have no clue what I did to fix it.

We don't officially support Windows 7 yet. Northern Silence's recommendation is your best bet.

Cant tell for Windows 8, but for Windows versions <= 7 partition/disk juggling, a GParted live CD/DVD always did the job better for me than Windows own tools.
