Lagging again. It gets better for maybe 20 - 30 minutes although still a little laggy and then it gets worse again and lasts for upwards of an hour.

I did a tracert to both servers as I am only lagging on s1 and not on s2 as you see they are virtually identical

8 28 pm labor day and its lagging again which its just me and SO posting but again its more like 20 people with lag but as usual no one will come here and post as they all say its useless as nothing will be done as in the past, present, and future. But I will continue to post maybe someone will give a **** and look into whats causing the lag all the time.

as you can see tracerts for both servers are comparable yet it is lagging bad on server 1 whereas server 2 is not getting any noticeable lag.

I'm still wondering why no one seems to care or wishes to adress this problem in any way shape or form.... I as well as many others have spent money on this game and people continue to do so... it is clearly not a problem of connection speed or lag on the way to the servers or both servers woudl be getting lag and that is not the case... Everyone logged on right now is complaining of lag it is not just me.

I have to agree with SO as usual. LAG OUT THE ASS again and it will be only SO and myself posting about the lag but people sure do bitch in game about the lag but won't post here as most of them state nothing happens, or are told the game doesn't lag well guess what it LAGS and its been very bad for the last month.

Do people have cheats that are being used as lag almost 99% of the time starts at the hour change and drags on and on. I don't know what the problem is but it sure does lag and being told that the there isn't lag when there is just isn't right. There may be other issues other than whatever or whoever looks into these problems.

Also... Seeing as Jeff says it's to do with ping and stuff.

Jeff, I put it to you to explain how someone with 170ms can lag, someone with 120ms can lag and how someone with 4 ms can lag..

Convince me this is a coneciton problem still or fix the lag.

everything was running nice and smoot when I got home at 3:00 then at 3:36 chat pukes on me and the lag starts in a big way. I'm starting to wish I'd never found this game because I love playing and being unable to do so because the lag makes it impossible is really frustrating. Jeff I love the game you made I just wish I could play it.

its now 4 54 pm est and LAG is back please please please please please please please please please look into what is causing the lag as it has nothing to do with connections. I mean this is crazy i can go play 3 or 4 games of backgammon on another site and have no issues but try to bezz or click in rwk server 1 and its a no go.

It is approx. 12:27 am EST there is lag occuring on S1

I thought after your yellow message and the server restart yesterday that the lag problem had been fixed... but apparently it hasn't I am experiencing lag on s1 again and just had about an hours worth of chat repost. Also logged onto server2 and no lag there so its not on my end aswell as the fact that other players have stated they are experiencing lag aswell. Namely Lord Ramza (Marc) Fraktur Silence and Diablo10f1


Is the problem fixed or has it just been found and is in the process of being fixed. and if it was believed to have been fixed can someone maybe look into what else may be causing some lag.

Lagging pretty bad right now at 3:55 ish game time. Others are lagging as well of course. I don't feel that posting a tracert is going to do any good, there is obviously a problem causing S1 specifically to lag badly. It lags 25-50% of the time I log on to play. Ask any other regular players; more people would post in the forums but they are either too new to understand that the game normally doesn't lag, or they aren't clicking fast enough to realize that it's lagging. Even still, it's a shame so few people have posted in here. Hopefully the problem gets fixed soon.

lagging and has been ... it got better for a while after you said you had found the problem and were working on it but it has gone back to being horrible on a regular basis again.... I hope you are still looking into the problem and have not just assumed it was fixed.

something is wrong lag has been here for most of the moring its gone now can someone look into why the lag in not present, I'm thinking that with all the lag lately it must be a new free add-on to the game and since its not here for a few mins someone may want to look into getting back for us. thank you for taking the time to look into this.

Something seems amiss at the server farm, both servers are unplayably slow now, 11:07 EST 25 Sep 2009. Interestingly, I don't usually see any correlation between ping and S1 vs S2 lagging but now I'm getting around 200 ms for both instead of my usual 14 to 18 ms. Maybe it's some system-wide maintenance being run, or perhaps a problem with their main line into the Web. It's not the usual S1 only delay, but it's still annoying.

12:35 EST now, S2 lag is gone, pings to both servers back to a normal 19 ms, but S1 is still slow as hell. Playing there has really become a lost cause.
