banned list
Well, with all the banned people and kingdoms still in their name i think there should be a post of all banned players. That way everyone knows who was banned and isn't out of the whole loop. It's also a reminder of idiots past, kind of nostalgic if you will. Quite possibly add a reason behind it to remind other players of past mistakes, or mistakes being made now. Many banned players have high forted kingdoms, why not help the erasing of their names in game by deforting their kingdoms after a ban? Not a total defort, over time runes, forts, and armies will be erased, or disbanded. Sounds cruel to the owner, knowing their kingdoms will suffer the same cruel fate as the character.
I don't know, just threw that last part out there, but it would be nice if we had a banned char list.

Yeah I don't think that banned chars plexes should be removed. If they're over 2.5k then they will deteriorate with every run, if under and they're in the way then I guess they will just have to be nuked. As for a ban list, though, I like the idea.

Jeff has already said there will NEVER be a ban list. It will only create a list that people willw ant to be on, thus causing more problems. If you keep up to date or ask around you can find out if someone is banned or not. Or try to log the account with pw 123456, it will ither say "invalid login" or "player banned". Make sure to have successful logins also to avoid 24hr ban.

So like, no one has an 'unofficial' website with a list? Or am I just gonna type passwords all day. Just so i get it straight, who would want to be on that list? Like, 'I wasted all my time on RWK to get banned! zomg i rock!' Don't see any humor or point whatsoever. But then again, some people are just born retarded. Not complaining, only saying.

I dont know of any real list because it frankly is too long.. theres hundreds of banned chars... you really dont need a list.. if you see a kd and want to know if the char is still usable before you nuke it check it... besides for kingdom expansions and stuff theres no need to know if someone is banned or not, and if you do need to know you check it...

So in forums when it has BANNED underneath the left side by their name, that means Forum banned. Well how about an option where you can click the kings name and it would tell you if they were active or not. Or like 'You cannot send Private Messages to banned characters.'. Something along those lines would be nice.
As for the off-topicness, you can leave other people messages on their member pages by clicking their name and typing a message for them. That way you make sure they actually get the message instead of waiting for them to see a certain post in a certain page. |
