alrighty, as mentioned in chat, many players believe that rwk is going downhill, i propose a few easy steps that you (jeff) as game administrator can do to help rwk, now we all know that you're busy with nodiatis, and thats ok, it brings in money, we have no problem with that, we would just like to ask that you take one or even a few day(s) and do a few things to help, now il put things that we need to get done, not all players will agree, but from what i hear from many players, this would do some good

1. in order to reduce the load on the servers and possibly reduce lagg, you should delete all banned characters, and give their kingdoms to Nobody. This will free up kingdoms on all planes. this would incite a bit of nuking, players would fight for the new spots open, allowing more activity for a short period of time.

2. Reduce all NOBODY kingdom's assets to 0, on every plane, (do this right after all banned characters kingdoms are given to nobody). This will allow gold to be taken out of the game, no it is not a permanent solution, but it would allow a small amount of gold to leave the game, before those kingdoms start bringing gold back into the game.

3. (posibility) delete all inactive characters who arent sos, read the rest of this before replying in outrage... what would happen is that all characters that are inactive for more than one month and that DONT have sos will be deleted. all sos chars and sose chars will not be touched, this will remove noob characters, and free names, free a few kingdoms and give a little less load on the server, players will be given one month to log all mules before this will happen, so gold mules will not be destroyed unless logged at least once during the month.

4. **GET MODS**.:

This has been suggested for quite a while, we should have player mods, or even mods that dont even play racewarkingdoms. they should be acountable for their actions. by bringing in mods, new players will not be *bashed* as often, allowing a better rwk enviroment, swearing should be allowed to a certain extent, racial profanities shall not, and noob bashing/new player harrasment will not be allowed. this isnt a tough thing to implement and can help with new players satying.

5. New gold sinking updates :

we need a few updates that take gold out of the game, similar to the lottery or getting the sash of the blood. make a new item that helps when dueling, such as raising your class resistances, or boosting a stat, the item would be available by letting a different citizen roll, but instead of costing eeogt's it would costs tects/stones. this would reduce gold from the game, for a short while at least.

6. a few new NPC's would be nice, whom you can interact with, and possibly get a few items from, this should be done after all suggestions above are done, more quests, quest items, incentives, new scepters, new nuking staffs, and things that are player suggested, and reasonable,

in conclusion, im not telling you how to run your game, you made a great game, and will continue to play for years ahead, but just think what a few extra hours per month could do to your revenue and have new players introduced, having 2 great games bringing in good profits would be nice, and just for a little more work.

Now players i dont want bashing, saying " your idea sucks" or "you're an idiot", feel free to comment, and if you dont like an idea, please state why, give arguments to support your opinion, i believe that based on many chat discussions, that the ideas above would greatly help rwk, thank you for reading this and i hope that it acomplishes something

please post if you support at least a few ideas being done, the more players that state their support, it will make a bigger impact when almost all players are united for updates, and changes for the better

ok well you said many ways to reduce all the excess players and i like that but i also think we need new players, alot of new players so we get plenty to stick and plenty to overrun the ubers who think they own the game and can run out all the new players, Jeff i propose ADVERTISING RACEWARKINGDOMS AND NOD ON MYSPACE AND FACEBOOK it doesnt have to be permanent as i beleive even a week of advertising will bring in a massive new player base for both servers of rwk and for nod aswell which will increase income for you and allow gold in rwk to be bought up and used by new players trying to grow

1/2. deleting banned chars will not reduce server "load" if by performane you mean. Giving all banned chars kingdoms to nobody will cause 100T+ in runes to be up for grabs. Don't see how this helps.... But if 1 and 2 happen at same time might work but your inciting nuking has just gone out the window


3. Chars with no purchased items are deletyed after 6 months. Deleting any sooner or deleting non sos chars Would just be stupid.

We have updated our policy on deleting inactive accounts. Any account that has a purchasable quest item or super relic (MR, CR, VS or better) will never be deleted. Accounts that have no purchasable items may be deleted after 6 months of not being accessed, however.

4. Chat has always been free reign aside from spaming and following game related chat rules. If this was changed MANY people will quit. RWK has never been dumbed down for children and many players like that fact.

5/6. More specific things might help. Can't bash it if you can't come up with something good.

btw this probably should have went in "Game Ideas and Feedback", so jeff if ya can just move it :P, i thought it would be good to be in recent changes, to get more views, but its up to you

NS, i was posting a basic thread, inciting other players to put their opinions an ideas, im not bashing things in # 6, but making jeff think about something like that

and as for the kingdom suggestion 2. stated that all assets should be returned to 0, runes are assets, so there wont be any runes left over, thanks for the post, and im not an expert on server and what causes it to slow down, just thought id post it

1 and 2 are meant to happen at the same time but 1 has to happen before 2 thats why he seperated them in specific order and to your 4 response there are MANY people left to quit which is why this forum was started in the first place

I think for 3 it would be a good idea if you made a level limit for players with no bought items like level 500 this may or may not urge high level players to spend gold to get their mules to this level, so they don't have to continually log onto them. Also for people like me who like the game but don't have the money to spend it would still delete all noob accounts but not the once of people who have put alot of time into the game as I have been known to leave games for up to 6 months before returning.

at most you have 40k kingdoms under banned chars out of 450k and a good 26k of them are junk boogie kingdoms. I dont see the need. Whiping boogie, maybe, but that doesnt solve any issues.

with the other suggestions made we hope to have a ton of new players join the freeing up of 40k kingdoms would do alot for those noobs that need places to starrt up from

i think the situation is different for both servers, so each server would have to be approached and examined, to see what has to be done, you cannot compare s1 maps and s2 maps, there isnt much room on s1 maps at the moment, while there is more room on s2 maps (that i can see), so jeff's approach has to take that into consideration

there's over 350k kingdoms on S1 that are taken when you look at the maps over 75% are filled in sky's case more then 75% i dont know how many are being held in banned chars but on the surface all the inactive accounts and banned accounts that hold kingdoms should be erased as this will give new players a chance to scout out and find kingdoms that are Nobody owned and make the game more interesting for themand exciting remember to new players owning 1 kingdom can make the difference between staying long enough to buy upgrades or quit before trying to hard

whats the amount of kingdoms under banned chars on s1? Is banned chars the issue or is it just crowded with plexes. I think of an aproach to making nuking profitable would be more of a better aproach, yes it would give players more gold, but in the end it will be either even or negative in the cost of rebuilding and the cost of the nuke. getting players to nuke will probably be the best way to clear things out. nuke ruins are also a good place for newbs to start off building.

To get new peeps hooked on rwk you all hafta be "nicer." I know that is going to be hard for some of you but it is a nessecity. Second, help them and stop telling the to "ask your mentor"...the /guide command has been broken for several months and I still see that phrase. Along with that, actually help them instead of telling them to go to jimcav.com .

/guide is not "broken" it was purposely disabled. In my opinion /mentor should be disabled because 90% of its use is abused use.

If new players are too stupid to not know how to talk **** to someone 500x more powerful than them then they serve to get ridiculed. Other than that any new player is perfectly fine, but 100 new players *****ing over they have to spend $50 does not help. If they can't spend the money then they won't be a valuable player to the game.

ok i also think something that might benefit nonscepter holders and maybe veryone in general would be a raise in the gold each player can hold at once, with the amounts of gold being moved and items being crafted and sold and thing being sold for under 50b or so the amount of gold could be risen to 5Bil instead of 2 Bil...............just a suggestion anyone agree or disagree just say so

The number can not go above 2,147,483,647 because it is the highest posible integer on a 32bit system.
