The only place I am experienceing any lag at the time of these pings and tracerts is on RWK

I am not the only one on that was complaining about lag and my connection rate to the internet was over 17mbps at the time

All I know is at the time that was taken I had lag on S1 but not on S2
Every player on S1 is complaining about the lag. I have even gotte RTOs trying to chat.
It is getting worse and more frequent by the day.

are there server updates going on today too?
and have there been for the past week or so because the lag is occurring at roughly the same times every day its almost to the point you could set your watch by it. and its in the evenings too not just during the map update

LOL you don't just type the URL in to command prompt to initiate a tracert or to ping.

Default I don't think it's the connection

I don't think the server 1 problems are caused by actual lag, internet latency, but are a performance issue on that machine. The timeouts and slow responses are a daily occurrance on S1 while at the same times S2 works fine. I've done pings and tracerts and they typically show the same pathing and response times, which makes sense with IP addresses of 64.34.186.9 and 64.34.186.10. Our connections are the same to both servers, but the results once connected seem to be the root of the problem. It looks like either S1 is doing a lot more work several times every day or it has a more general performance problem that should be addressed. I think looking at the internet connection is a red herring, unless it's a bad network card on S1, and the people who operate the servers should be looking into hardware to fix things.

Default lag

For a game that everyone says there is no lag there sure is a ton of lag and as usual everyone has it but will anyone believe that all of playing have lag in the game prob not. I know you will post you want the ping well I got lucky on how to do it the other day and then the 2nd post i get crap for the way i posted so anyway screw the ping crap don't matter you will just say its not laggin yet all of us are bitching about the lag in the game that doesn't have lag that you say isn't their. And if you can make sense of all this its what i feel about the lag and being told that there isn't any lag .

At this point bitching probably IS helping get the problem fixed. It's not in the connections, those are the same to both servers and S2 doesn't have a problem when S1 does. We also can't do anything personally to diagnose or fix whatever is wrong at S1. The people who own and operate it will either fix it or ignore our problem, depending on whether or not their customer keeps telling them something is wrong. I doubt anyone at the server farm plays RWK so they won't know or care if the gameplay is suffering. If players keep complaining about "lag" Glitchless will have a reason to keep on the problem. If we stop bringing it up Glitchless will logically assume the problem is gone and stop trying to fix it. I'd keep the complaining polite here and try to be constructive, but I think we need to keep mentioning it if we want things to be fixed. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

A nice log of when there was lag could help.

It takes time to diagnose an issue with Harddrives, CPU, or even memory. Especially if its a sporatic problem.

I had a problem with "lag" on one of my servers for a while whenever there was 10+ users on it, I did everything, upgraded memory, upgraded harddrives, CPU, non of which fixed the problem. Moved one of my high volume mysql Databases to a remote mysql and whala fixed everything.

Most of the time the problem isn't black and white, or just one thing. It can take time and diagnostics.

its lagging right now ... I'm not gonna post a tracert or ping anymore as you keep telling us to post them and then saying they tell you nothing constructive but I will post when it is lagging and it is lagging now and has been for atleast an hour since I got home from the store. Aswell as there was lag through large portions of the day. Right now it would be more correct to say that not having lag is the sporadic condition. I agree with jimcav that we should keep it polite but stop telling us its on our side or in our connection. We are getting lag on s1 and not on s2 so it is obvious to all of us that it is not a connection problem and is not a problem with our individual computers.

when 1 person reports lag here, everyone is lagging horribly on S1.

Not everyone reports the lag, they are lazy.

alot of days, the lag lasts all day, not intermittent 10 minutes here and there, we are talking about 8-10 hours long nearly every single day
