Default Multiple Ideas/Feedback (long)

First some background. I've been an off and on player since the old school RWK from like 98-99 (I think). I really remember attaching on to the game because of the addiction of trying to get drops. I would click nonstop hoping to get the next item upgrade! I remember having so much fun and talking to so many people. When the server is full it is a really fun experience. However, I would never really stick around because I never really felt like I was progressing.

Once I realized money was the only way really to move up, I would hop on every now and again to relive nostalgia. However, I recently started playing again and lived out my child hood fantasy and got SoSe. So, keep that in mind when you are reading some of the suggestion as I'm not trying to get items for free.

First of all, the goal should be to attract new players and retain them. I think the game can get stale for those who don't spend money. Games really need to have a sense of progression to hold interest over time. Accumulating Ash for a base purchase such as aqua lungs should be easier for a new player. Honestly 20k ash without all the perks of a paid player is going to be darn near impossible. You have to give users a taste of what they could have so they spend money. If there is no taste, players will just leave.

So, if there were quicker ways to obtain Ash that would be great. However, if you don?t want to have to mess up the current beast summoning system, maybe have an alternative method to earn those upgrades. A big part of the game is getting your whales to spend money on it, but you also need an active community to make people want to stick around. You could supplement some sales loss by adding more convenience items to the store like inventory space, player chat colors or icons, etc.

Regarding Ash, there should also be a way to select items and destroy all at once. This would help with Ashing and crafting. A much needed QoL improvement.

There should also be more unlockable perks obtained at hitting certain level milestones. Some suggestions:
- New Plane
- Dungeon Area's with new monsters/loot
- Title's/icon/chat color (could make way for some sort of achievement system too)
- Inventory space

For myself I like the addiction of clicking and getting drops. I love seeing that yellow and green. However, you hit a certain point where monster kill (non-beast) drops really don't mean anything except for Ash. The drop rates for any really good relic seems almost impossible to get. Having an SoSe there really isn't anything I have to look forward to dropping for me except for fabled drops. I'm not sure how to solve this besides adding new items and or quest items.

It would be cool to also have a questing system that gives out random rewards like new armor that could be bind on account or something. I'm sure that's a huge rewrite, but even just simple kill quests to kill 1000 of something with a slim chance to get like a demonic, earthen other rare stuff would be cool. You could have really good items be locked behind a high-level wall too. This is so a bunch of low-level characters aren't running around with top tier gear.

Being able to craft armor or relics with player picked attributes could be cool too. Would add a whole new dynamic to the game.

One last thing would to be to kind of update to the times. I understand that not everyone is in the PC culture, but I think the revamp of the g/f system to something else might be best, or just add b/f counterparts to them. It does come off a bit cringy and make it seem like only 13 y/o boys play the game. Maybe that?s true, but I would hope the game would want a diverse demographic. A little more modernizing of the help site and interface wouldn't hurt either.

Overall, I really like the game, and would like to see the community grow back to how I remember. A fun place with lots of activity where everyone is clicking to get that rare drop.

SoSe is more about building kds than building character IMO. You can use those kds to make tects and hope for DD drops.

There is already armor bound to chars. Shadow/forge. They dont drop though; you make them.

As for PC, most of us (that i've talked to) agree the name of the game, and the GF system are major things that can make people not play.

Most of us are not 13 yo boys; but a great many of us were when we started.

You have some very valid points. I personally like to build my character up more than building kingdoms regardless of the premise. A couple of kingdoms and I'm happy. I just think there should be multiple avenues to go down to add "end game" content. Having unique drops that aren't tied to a lot of resources or beast killing could be fun. I just want a reason to be killing monsters over and over besides just ash. Need to hit that reward center in the brain. A good idea would be having monsters to have a rare chance to drop coins that could be traded in for demo's, earthens, ash or other things. Could even have item sets plane specific with unique bonuses.

I also think "dungeon area's" would be cool too. Think of it as instances in MMO's. Unique enemies, and bosses that drop things for all that are involved. Dungeon access could be based of level requirement, gear, quests completed to enter an area. A grouping system would probably be too a little too ambitious.

Yeah, I agree with the name as well. I mean it wouldn't take that much to rebrand the game and update the look a little. I highly doubt people would quit if the name/graphics changed a bit.

I just really like that the game is simplistic on the surface but can get a little deep. Just being able to hop on, not worrying about having a top notch computer and having fun it what is so appealing to me. I would like to see the community grow again.

Admittedly I think I was a 13 year old boy when I started playing on the old old school one. Have a print out being on the leader board somewhere.
