Default Introduce an Item LOAN mechanic

Characters can loan other characters item with a time duration on the items, in which they will be promptly returned to person who loaned it. Clearly make it safe guarded to prevent griefing... Even if the character deletes his character the items will return to the owner. The only issue I can see is people increasing their inventory space too high while loans are in issue

Creating a game mechanic like this will IMMENSELY help out new or returning players. Imagine someone being loaned a full DsD suit, for example. I think this idea could increase time played by returning players, as well as incentivize a new niche market for current vendors.

its race WAR kingdoms, not race CUDDLE kingdoms.

By choosing to loan an item out; you assume a risk. There are no magic 'return to me' faeries. You not wanting risk in a game that at one point had a large role playing base seems like a poor reason to add a mechanic.

Well lets be practical and pragmatic. He could limit the amount of items lent and employ some sort of ash tax to do so to both parties. I feel like there's something here with this idea, doesn't need to be full out faerie ****ery. You don't see anyone in auction offering to loan items and people who do do so through the "good ole boys club" system.

EDIT: I've reflected on it and I think you're right. Forget it.

Its not that hard to become 'a good ol boy'. You just have to stick around long enough to have a good reputation.
