Default Multiboxing Guide

Home Page: http://hotkeynet.com/index.html
Downloads: http://hotkeynet.com/p/download.html
Quickstart: http://hotkeynet.com/p/doc.html

Divvy: http://mizage.com/divvy/

Start by downloading hotkeynet from the downloads page i linked.

Once you've installed the application, i'd suggest following the quickstart guide but its not required if you use this guide.

After reading the manual, or deciding to skip it. Open the application and get a look around.

You can see if the hotkeys are enabled or disabled by looking at the top middle for the checkbox with "enabled" on it.

Near the bottom left you can see 3 buttons, load script, reload script, edit script. We currently have no script loaded or created so we will need to do that next.

Open your favorite text editor, and paste in the following script i have inserted below. Pay close attention to comments and replace the names that need to be replaced to make it unique to your setup.

I recommend only trying 1 or 2 characters at first to get a feel for working with the hotkey software.

Save this file as "hotkey-script.txt" on your desktop, or somewhere you will rememnber its location.

<SetBackgroundFocusDelays 50 100> //This is the delay for actions between windows. (dont modify unless youre missing commands)
<hotkey LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5> //These are the 'keys' you press.
<sendpc local>
<SendWinMF "Case Sensative Character Name - Internet Browser"> //REPLACE Internet Browser with one of the following [ Google Chrome | Mozilla Firefox | Microsoft Edge ]
<key %Trigger%> //sends the 'trigger key' ie what you pushed, to the window.
<sendpc local>
<SendWinMF "Case Sensative Character Name - Internet Browser">
<key %Trigger%>
(repeating for Number of chars.)

//Below features are customizeable, they just turn on or off the hotkeys.
<hotkey F8>
<TurnHotKeysOff>

<hotkey F9>
<TurnHotKeysOn>

Once you have saved the script. Go back to the application and click the 'load script' button.

You will be prompted with a menu to load a file, select the hotkey script you just saved and open it.

Make sure in the center you see no red errors for scripts loading, if you do make sure your scripts look good, resave them and attempt to reload.

You should now be able to turn on the hotkeynet software, and be able to broadcast key strokes to all the windows matching your script.

Good luck multiboxing rwk.
