Current areas of improvement for RWK, including but not limited to:
- Lack of incentive to play daily. Limited content once toon geared and at cap.
- Lack of social interaction
- Kingdom stagnance, limited use for gold
- Limited character interaction with kingdoms (aside from killing guards)
- Little ways to progress.
This idea aims to improve these areas (and others) by adding a new plane that introduces new mechanics into the game. Secondary objective is to use as much pre-existing content/mechanics to minimize coding and maximize RWK feel.
Possible features of the new plane (mix and match):
- Would require a new quest item to be completed to access, such as the proposed staff of divinity
- Monthly rewards for all participants, scaled to performance. Some rewards are a permanent effect, some are items/cash.
- Occupying KDs will generate points toward the monthly reward. Some KDs will either give more points or a different currency of points for unique rewards.
- monthly resetting of all KDs to unoccupied
- Each class would have a unique effect for KDs, either enhancing offense, defense, wealth, growth, etc. Example: Killing Guard also damages army. or, the KD an archer is situated at always defends as if at max archers.
- Alternatively, instead of class effects, it would be gem effects. A toon's bonuses will depend on its % bonus of each gem.
- Dueling and killing an opponent disables hero ability and dueling ability for X amount of time (such as a 3 minute revive timer, on this plane).
- Size of plane (or number of special resource generating KDs) may depend on prior month's activity level.
- Number of KDs you start each month with depends on number of KDs in forge. 2 day grace period before attacking is allowed, giving room to fortify.
- Similar 1000:1 scaling as with Forge, though max is 20 mil /unit.
- Defense enhancement for kingdom plexes.
