Similar to the Mines.
Can be imbued for an EEOST.
has a small % to drop gems (similar to rune drop) for the players for an hour. Chance is minimal, but can happen.
Zone also has increased skill % chance (5-10), Or increased ash rate Independent of the location being imbued.
A good name could be "The Furnace"

Further, you could limit the gems found hourly, by removing 50 runes from the kingdom, once it dropped to 0 it would stop providing gems, until it is imbued once more, or players refill the rune's that are missing.
Additionally you could just make the drop rate so rare that it wouldnt be an issue, but still gives players a reason to use the new location.

I don't like the gem drop idea. They are too frequent as it currently sits. I do like the idea of increased skill chance. Set it to 10% and with ash being dropped every fight.
Along with this, adding in Anubis' destroy ash feature that he pulled from his add-on would be great.

I'd disagree on drop rate. S1 may have much more people finding gems but s2 doesnt and games cant be balanced around a discrepancy between the servers.
Additionally it would require player investment not something 'just free' and could result in it ultimately not being worth the invested amount in gems. The Rng aspect is there to cause players to gamble gold, for potential gems as well as allow other players who may not have many gem finding kingdoms a chance at obtaining them.
I also see gems as more valueable here shortly after the next set of updates.

Like the idea still:
10% skill chance (SoSE version of sky shrine) would be cool for new SoSE players
But I think 50 runes removed per gem is too much (assuming a eeost to imbue).. 20 between everyone in an hour is not going to make it worth doing for anyone.

How about.
1 Tril (eeost) Per hour to become 'attuned' to the location.
Attunement allows you to enter the location, and can drop gems, has increase drop chance, and a small % bonus to skills.
ONLY players who pay the EEOST entry can enter the location.
Gem drops should be significant, but not broken. Gems sell for 100-200b now on each server, making 5 per an hour a decent baseline, more would be nice but not a necessity.

Here's a slippery slope of balance:
Pay an EEoST for the effort of clicking for 5 gems
Give someone an EEoST for no clicking for 10 gems.
I like the idea of a big investment, but I also like the idea of promoting people to work/earn it.
Next suggestion:
250b[eeogt] an hour to attune
~approx 5 gems an hour. But this means people will actually be clicking for an hour to get them.

I said 5 as a baseline of 'you almost always get this', but it wouldnt be uncommon for you to come out with 10-20 etc. per hour if you hit cap per say.
Im not set on the price, i just figured Jeff would only be interested in something very costly if it was associated with gems.

A gold->gems mechanic already exists by settling more Forge KDs and putting more treasury in them. I don't want to add a more cost effective way to do it which would undermine the base method.

You have the forge hermit special loc already. I agree with the Gem Alchemar, have the art for him be like a drag queen full of gems. Make it so that if you kill him you can't kill a DE/MT/GMT/or other uber beast for the month, or any other alchemar as well.

Id say just leave him Like AA's, where you can only kill an AA, and super beast. (Shaman, Rogue, Golem, MT, DE, new surface beast)

I agree with Gem drag queen.
I also agree that it should be a new tier of lock out. AAs/Gem/GMT/MT beast only - leave the lower tiers for the people playing catch up.
If you're killing/needing great gems you don't need DEs
Edit: And surface beasts for cards.

theres a seperate thread posted for a gem beast, but i do like the idea of a new special location in forge, the skill/ash location… probably better rates then their counterparts since its in forge….agreed with the low drop chance of gems
