Thats right!, a new music station has arrived, playing the best hits from the 80's 90's and today, you can find out alot more information at Home, I hope that this will keep the players entertained while they play, there is contests, different shows, starting on aug 26th regular programming should commence, featuring, song requests when a dj is online, music on demand, so you can download your favorite songs and play them while not connected to the internet, shows such as:
"I love the 90's" - wich is only music from the 90's, i will be taking requests for 90's music
"american top 40 with ryan seacrest" - il be playing his top 40 songs for the week, changes weekly
"specialty hours" - speacial hours were i play only one artist all hour long(such as an hour of rod stewart songs), or one gendre, and the hours can be requested by listeners
"80's Mania" - featuring music from the 80's aswell as requests
"Music mania" when im not available, or sleeping, music mania will be random music from the 80's 90's and today, and also some pre recorded music
"Detication hour" an hour were rwk'ers can submit detications to their friends
"the sunday 70's show" where you can hear popular 70's music, it will bring you back in time to your childhood, or make you realise that they didnt have such bad songs in the past
"gold contest" 750billion given away daily!!, (on s1) gold giveaway is not available on s2 for the time being, it should be within the next week

hosting is with yahoo... yahoo does not give you the SSH access or the privalage to run processes on the server, and If you plan to run this from your home either
A. you will only be able to have max 2 listeners with your bandwidth or
B. your ISP will shut you down for exesive bandwidth use.

the website is hosted by yahoo, while the radio station is not, im just using yahoo to host the internet site, since it is relatively cheap, the station has a large capacity, and should deliver lagg free streaming audio at 128Kbps 24 hours a day, as for the gold contest, there are still a few changes and tweaks that much be changed and the gold annoucement is one of them, but they shall be fixed today
