I think that every time some one posts something in the forums, it should appear in chat.

just my opinion.

If you want to know immediately about forums posts, just refresh the website every 30 seconds. Spamming chat with what will mainly be pointless notifications is stupid. Maybe if it's an important post by Jeff (ie. one that used to go in /ann) then it should be announced in chat.
