Overhaul relics.

I think there could be some interesting changes you could make to the game, with very limited modifications around relics that already exist.

Looking at the eternal relics, There are a few small wins you could do to help adjust class balance issues using already existing content, but slightly changing them to make them more acceptable for therugs, or monks or other classes to use.

Hear me out on this one, its gonna be a ****ing doozy head turner.

Allow players who are level 1,000+ access to the forge. No special quest items required, make a location which allows them to get there from the surface can be anything. You might even be able to make this somewhere like the Forbidden mines so it requires 50.00 but whatever point stands.

Allow players level 1,000 access to the forge, and allow them to settle a MAXIMUM of 2 kds. This allows for players who have invested some time in the game to get to the forge, and benefit from its mechanics, while still leaving the Plex comp, and over abundant generation from forge assets to people who have sose. This also allows for a few players to generate gold from selling gems on mules which they are out of options for game play.

New skill, which is capped at 125 like others, but instead of having the same progression value, for its 0-125 are the same requirements as skills over 99, and it gets no bonuses from external skill modifiers.

This skill increases nuking power by 1% per each skill point. at 100 the effect is doubled to 2 points, for an effective 150% increase power in nuking.

I see this skill as being something which players who have maxed skills, and are looking to still benefit from killing MT's or just want something to do.

There could be a sister skill as well, which provides extra defense against nukes / sneak attacks / etc that operates on the same mechanic.

To be fair, I do recall SoS being marketed aeons ago as the quest that will allow you to have access not just to existing planes, but to all future planes without limitation. So, maybe give SoS players the ability to access forge, but don't allow them to settle until they have sose?

Also regarding the nuke skill, make this something that you can't farm skill by sitting in shrine or ID pressing D,D,D,D,D,D.........Make it something that occurs much more rare and ONLY increases by nuking with a tect active randomly. Also force Silencia off after like skill#50 cause fairness or something. Only tea sippers use Silencia.

i've rethought this entirely. Due to the complexity assocaited with leveling this skill it should have break points similar to KMS but not exactly. A combination of both suggested points could work, or make other interesting ideas.

0-50 1% increase in damage per skill point.
51-75 2% increase in damage per skill point.
76-99 2% increase in sneak attack % per 5 points.
100-125 Increased effectiveness of tect multiplier every 5 points
105 would be 1.25x
110 would be 1.5x
115 would be 1.75x
120 would be 2x
125 would be 2.5x


Dropping Tects, Stones, or nuking all have a small % chance to spawn a new beast (could be Lord Magus's idea)

You can kill up to 3 a month, which has a % to increase the skill (doesnt always happen needs some rng). Locks out all other beast list including surface beast. Beast is hard as ****, requires geared char to even attempt.

Could have a requirement to attacking both beast, and attempting to train this skill.

To be honest, RWK players will never be happy with what happens. Initially there will be fanfare followed by more whining.

Just reboot the game to scratch and let players start from nothing. Separate the zygotes from the men!
